Overview

Caelen is an all-in-one work management platform — tasks, projects, notes, team chat, and meetings, all in one place — built and run by Ömer Sefa Çarıkçı. It's an independent, one-person product — there's no company behind it, just me.

This policy explains what personal data I collect, why I collect it, how I use it, and what control you have over it. I've tried to keep it simple and honest — just like the pricing.

Data I collect

When you use Caelen, I collect the following:

• Account data— name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
• Workspace data— projects, tasks, notes, team chat messages, and meeting details you create inside Caelen.
• Usage data— pages visited, features used, and session activity, so I can understand how the product is used and improve it.
• Payment data— billing name, address, and the last four digits of your card, handled securely by our payment processor. I never see or store full card numbers.
• Support data— messages you send me via email or in-app chat.

How I use your data

• To run, maintain, and improve Caelen.
• To process payments and send billing receipts.
• To send product updates, security alerts, and support replies.
• To understand overall usage patterns and guide what to build next.

I don't sell your data to anyone. I don't use your workspace content to train AI models.

Data retention

I keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and workspace content are removed within 30 days.

Cookies & tracking

Caelen uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. Optional analytics cookies (opt-in only) help me understand how the product is used. You can manage your preferences anytime in Cookie Settings.

Your choices

Whenever you'd like, you can:

• Ask for a copy of the data I hold about you.
• Ask me to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask me to delete your account and personal data.
• Ask for your data in a portable, machine-readable format.

Just reach out via the contact page and I'll take care of it, usually within a few days.

Third-party services

Caelen relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to handle things like payments, email delivery, and hosting. These providers only receive the data they need to do their job, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Changes to this policy

If I make material changes to this policy, I'll notify you by email or an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Caelen after that date means you accept the updated policy.
